The short version: we collect what you type into the form, we use it to set up your account and get back to you, we do not sell it, and this site loads no third party advertising or tracking scripts.
1. What We Collect
When you use the registration form we collect the details you type into it: your first name, your last name, your email address and your phone number. Your phone number is recorded with its international dialling code attached.
We also receive the IP address associated with the registration. That address is added by the service that receives the form rather than read by your browser, and it is used to route the enquiry and to limit automated abuse of the form.
This website does not use cookies of its own, and it does not build a profile of your browsing.
2. Why We Collect It
We use your details to create and administer your account, to contact you about your registration, and to respond to questions you send us.
We may contact you about the platform and about your account. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will stop.
3. Who We Share It With
Your details are passed to the financial services provider that will hold your trading account, because that provider needs them to open the account and to meet its own legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to marketing lists. We will disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to protect the rights or safety of any person.
4. Analytics And Third Party Scripts
This website loads no third party analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media trackers. There is no Google Analytics tag on any page, no Meta pixel, and no embedded video or widget that reports back to another company.
The only third party contact this website makes is the request that carries your registration form to the service that processes it, and that request happens only when you submit the form.
That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. A tracking script hands a third party a record of every visitor to this site, and we would rather not do that in exchange for statistics we can live without.
5. How Your Country Is Pre Selected
The phone field on the registration form starts on Australia, because that is the market this site serves. If your browser reports a different time zone, the field may change to the country that matches it.
That detection happens entirely inside your browser, using the time zone your device already reports. This website does not call an IP geolocation service, because doing so would hand a third party your IP address for the sake of a convenience feature we can manage without.
6. How Long We Keep It
We keep your registration details for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for the period our legal and accounting obligations require. When that period ends the information is deleted or made anonymous.
7. Keeping It Safe
Data sent through this website travels over an encrypted connection. Access to registration records is limited to the people who need it to do their jobs.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
8. Your Choices And Your Rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to make a complaint about how your information has been handled. Send it to us first through the contact page and we will deal with it.
9. Children
This website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes, the date at the foot of this page will change with it, and the updated policy will appear here.
11. Getting In Touch
Questions about this policy, or about the information we hold, can be sent through the form on the contact page. That form is the contact route this website publishes.
