FAQ
Sydrix Frequently Asked Questions
The questions people ask before they register, grouped so you can find yours. We have included the awkward ones.
Getting Started
Sydrix is software that reads market data and places trades for you, following rules you set yourself.
No. The rules you choose are explained in plain language as you set them. If you have traded before you will recognise all of them, and if you have not you can start on the defaults and adjust once you have watched a few trades go through.
About a minute. We ask for a first name, a last name, an email address and a phone number, and there is no card and no cost involved.
Yes, you need to be 18 or over. Trading platforms are not open to minors, and we ask you to confirm your age when you register.
Money And Accounts
That is set by the broker your account ends up sitting with rather than by us, so the honest answer is that it depends on the account rather than on Sydrix. We would rather point you at the actual terms than quote a figure here that might not apply to you.
No. Creating a Sydrix account is free, and it does not commit you to a deposit or to trading at all.
Not during sign up, and not through this website. The form asks for contact details and nothing else. Anyone asking for banking logins, card numbers or remote access while claiming to be us is not us.
Your funds sit with the broker holding your account, and withdrawals are handled under their terms rather than ours. We do not hold your money, which also means we cannot freeze it.
They are used to set up your account and to get back in touch with you. They are not sold or rented. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected and why, in the same amount of detail we would want if it were our own information.
How The Engine Works
It places trades that match the rules you set, without asking each time. That is the point of it, since a system that stops to check in every five minutes cannot act on a fast move. You can pause it whenever you want.
Crypto, forex, gold and other metals, major indices, energy, and share contracts over large listed companies. You choose which of those are in play for your account.
Yes. Crypto never closes, and the other markets have sessions running through the Australian night. The engine keeps reading and keeps to your rules while you are not watching.
Every trade is logged with the conditions that triggered it. You can look back at what the engine saw and which of your rules matched. Nothing it does is hidden from you.
You can, at any time. Turn the engine off, place the trade yourself, turn it back on. The platform does not lock you out of your own account.
Risk And Results
The platform is built to protect a position: every trade opens with a stop level and a target set in advance. Trading itself carries risk regardless of the tool, and no platform can remove that. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
Yes, and this matters more than any other answer on this page. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and a run of bad trades can take a serious share of your balance. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
No, and we never will. No honest trading platform can guarantee a return, because nobody controls the market. Treat any promise of a fixed percentage as a warning sign, whether it comes from us or from anyone else.
No. Sydrix is a technology platform, not an adviser, and nothing on this website is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Decisions about your money are yours, and you should take licensed advice if you need it.
Your stop level is what decides that, and you set it before the trade opens. A stop turns a bad trade into a smaller one. It cannot make a losing trade a winning one, and it can slip in a fast market.
Companies And Claims
No. You may see pages claiming a platform was covered by a major news outlet. Those pages are advertising rather than reporting, they are frequently invented, and we do not publish or rely on them.
No. Any advertisement claiming a well known person made money with a trading platform is a scam, and it has been used with the names of many well known Australians. We have never paid for an endorsement and never will.
A short set of clauses covering how the website may be used, the fact that we are a technology platform rather than a broker, and how disputes are handled. They are written to be read rather than skimmed, and they are linked in the footer of every page.
Use the form on the contact page. It reaches a person rather than a queue, and it is the one contact route this site publishes.
